Estimate Your Monthly Usage

Estimating your monthly usage is very easy:
   1. Specify what type of items your website will have
   2. Estimate how the items will be used
   3. Marvel at how affordable it is!

With Ezi-CMS you can do everything in house - so this is the total cost of running your web site - no more to pay.

1. Specify what type of items your website will contain

When answering the questions just supply rough estimates, as small variations will only make a difference of a few cents.
What's important is that you get the right scale: will your site have 10 pages or 1,000 pages, 10 members or 1,000 members?

General Purpose Website:
How many web pages will your website have? For example: home page, about us, contact us, our mission etc. Do not include product pages in this figure.

e-Commerce Website:
How many Products will your website have? You can list products on your site and optionally link them to online credit card processing. If you won't be listing any products on your site then just enter zero.

Extranet Website:
How many Non-Image Data Files? This refers to files such as MSWord documents, spreadsheets, pdf files etc. (It does not refer to pictures).More... The average website probably won't have any such files; this is more applicable if you're site will include private collaboration areas (extranet) where members of your staff or supply chain can upload and/or download files.

2. Estimate how it will be used.

Now just answer a few questions about how people will be using your site. Once again, just supply rough estimates as small variations will only make a difference of a few cents.

General Purpose Website:
How many web pages will you update each month? This includes changing the text on a page or adding new pictures or links to a page. More... (If you do all 3 on one page that only counts as one page update.) It also includes new pages you'll add or pages you'll delete each month.
